Common vs Normal

Who is ready to question the notion of normal? I know I am!

As a society, I feel like we have normalised so many symptoms – headaches, acid reflux, forgetfulness, fatigue, falling sick often, and the list goes on! These symptoms may be common, but they are NOT normal.

Dr Tom O’Bryan defines and highlights the difference between common and normal:

Common means a lot of people have it

Normal means that is the way it’s supposed to be.

He believes that “no one should have to live with symptoms, no one should accept them, and no one should ignore them.” This is in line with what I believe at Innate Wellness. We use symptoms as messengers to understand what our body needs.
